Aerogel Felt

Aerogel felt is a low density three-dimensional nano porous solid material, which is composed of nano colloidal particles or polymer molecules coalesced to form a nano porous network structure and filled with gaseous medium in the pores. It has physical characteristics such as low density, high specific surface area, high porosity, low dielectric constant, and low thermal conductivity.

Packaging, Transportation, and Storage

(1) Packaging materials should have moisture-proof properties. Each package must contain products of the same specification. Special packaging requirements can be agreed upon by the supplier and the customer.

(2) Transportation vehicles should be equipped with measures to keep the products dry and protected from rain. During handling, the products should be lifted and placed gently to avoid heavy pressure.

(3) Products should be stored in a dry, ventilated, and rain-proof environment, away from fire sources, heat sources, and chemical solvents. They should be stacked separately according to type and specification, avoiding excessive pressure.

Applications

Aerogel felt is a flexible thermal insulation material made by combining nano-porous aerogel with inorganic fiber materials using proprietary technology. The product features ultra-low thermal conductivity, low density, excellent fire resistance, water repellency, corrosion protection, and high tensile and compressive strength. Its combustion performance reaches Class A1, and it does not shed powder or fragments, making it environmentally friendly. In addition, it provides superior sound insulation, noise reduction, corrosion resistance, and vibration damping. It is mainly used for thermal insulation, corrosion protection, and noise reduction in pipelines and equipment operating at both high and low temperatures.

Precautions

(1) Do not use hooks or sharp tools that may puncture the packaging or materials during loading and unloading.

(2) During use, take protective measures against dust and glass fiber exposure.
